LLC RPE RIMK on new element base with the microcontroller has developed electronic release type SEM to automatic switches of series A3700 and ВА3700, ВА09. The development of a new electronic release for the replacement of existing semiconductor releases is performed with the condition of minimum processing of switches when they are replaced. The electronic release is designed for already existing current transformers, which gives the technical possibility of an early replacement of the electronic unit only during the PPR. Unlike the Tverskoi (Russia) release type RP-m, in this release for the adjustment of the settings used switches of the type MPN-1, which are much more reliable than the DIP-switches and do not simultaneously allow two parameters to be set erroneously.

Advantages of REM (Electronic Microcontroller Release).

- One of the advantages is the presence of LED indicator, which allows you to judge the performance of both the SEM itself and the presence of an emergency mode of the circuit-breaker. A steady green glow of the indicator on the front panel of the REM signals normal operation (the current in the main electrical circuit of the circuit breaker does not exceed the rated operating current). The intermittent red glow of the indicator indicates that the value of the current in the main electrical circle exceeds the setpoint according to the initial pick-up current. The flicker frequency of the indicator increases as the current rises.

- REM is assembled on a modern element base, which increases its reliability. - Each pole of the circuit breaker is calibrated separately, which makes it possible to obtain greater accuracy of the formation of the current characteristic.

- The only time characteristic (quadratic or cubic) for all dimensions of circuit breakers simplifies the calculation of energy systems or their settings.

- The stable value of the overload current will not allow overheating of the cables at currents close to the nominal value.

 - A greater number of settings allows more flexible use of REM.

 - Convenient selection of settings, reduces the likelihood of their incorrect installation.
