Switches of category A3700M are designed for installation on ships with an unlimited navigation area and can be operated in the following conditions:

a) ambient air pressure in the range of 8,000 to 16,000 mm of water;

b) ambient air temperature from minus 40ºС (without dew and frost at a temperature of minus 40ºС to 50ºС. It is allowed sometimes (5-7 times for the entire service life of the switch) to rise to 60ºС for about 2 hours;

c) relative humidity of the ambient air is not more than 98% at a temperature of 40ºС;

d) the installation place of the switch is protected from ingress of water, oil, emulsion, etc .;

e) environment - non-explosive, not containing dust (including conductive) in an amount that disrupts the operation of the switch, corrosive gases and vapors in concentrations that destroy metals and insulation;

e) the absence of direct exposure to solar and penetrating radiation, which violates the thermal balance of the switch and leads to aging of the insulation.
