Automatic switches A 3786M series (with thermal and electromagnetic releases) are designed for maximum current protection of electrical installations and cables during overloads and short circuits in AC and DC electric circuits of frequency 50 and 400Hz, as well as for infrequent operational switching-on and switching-off of these circuits.
Switches A-3786M TU16-641.032-85 are designed for installation on ships with an unlimited area of navigation and can be operated in the following conditions:
a) ambient air pressure in the range from 8000 to 16000 mm of water column;
b) ambient air temperature from minus 40ºС (without dropping of dew and frost at temperatures from minus 40ºС to 5ºС) to 50ºС. It is sometimes permissible (5-7 times for the whole service life of the switch) to raise the temperature to 60 ° C for a period of about 2 hours;
c) the relative humidity of the ambient air is not more than 98% at a temperature of 40 ° C;
d) the location of the switch - protected from water, oil, emulsion, etc .;
e) environment - non-explosive, free of dust (including conductive) in an amount that disrupts the operation of the switch, aggressive gases and vapors in concentrations that destroy metals and insulation;
